Technical Requirements for Viewing Webcasts



Windows Media Player

SAS webcasts require the Windows Media Player (Version 9 or higher) from Microsoft to deliver audio and video.

Macromedia Flash Player

Some on-demand webcasts require Macromedia Flash Player (Version 9 or higher).

Multimedia Computer

If you've got a fairly new computer, you should have no problems tuning in. Of course, you'll need to hear the audio. Your computer should have:

  • CPU -- Pentium 500 Mhz (or greater)
  • RAM -- 64 MB
  • Video -- SVGA 800x600 screen resolution or higher, 65535 colors
  • Audio -- SoundBlaster audio card (or equivalent)
  • Speakers or Headphones
  • Connection Speed - 100kbps minimum for webcasts, some flash files may require more.

Browser

You'll need a modern browser.
